Haruka Sato
Bodywork, design and maker culture
Haruka notices the shell before the chassis: the masking line at a window, the depth of a paint color, the way a wheel sits under an arch. A body can be immaculate and still have no point of view. She is drawn to builders who make a familiar shape feel personal, and skeptical of detail that only survives a close-up photo.
